The role of the EAL Teacher is essentially to build and maintain a successful EAL Program which includes; providing support for students with English language needs (beginning to intermediate), preparing EAL students to independently access our curriculum in English, to provide grade level and/or teacher training, to co-teach, co-plan, co-assess and co-reflect with the grade level homeroom teachers.

Instrumental Music Teacher

The role of our Instrumental Music Teachers is to build and maintain a successful music program within the school. This includes teaching instrumental techniques, performance skills, music theory and musical awareness to students ages 3 through 18. Staff are expected to work in conjunction with curriculum staff teaching the International Baccalaureate PYP, MYP, DP, AP and BTEC programs as well as support the school’s Music Ensemble Program.

The Student Support Department (SSD) is looking for a highly qualified, licensed Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) with previous experience in school-based therapy to join our expanding team of multi-disciplinary professionals. Relief Teaching Assistant, Early Years

The Main Objectives of the Admissions Manager would be:

IT Systems Administrator

The IT System Administrator will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the company’s Google Workspace for Education, Google Admin, and Office 365 platforms. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity and possess intermediate knowledge of these platforms. Candidate with the knowledge of Jamf and/or Microsoft Intune is a plus.

Responsible for ensuring systems setup and configurations are meeting and exceeding expectations with regards to performance, meeting defined metrics/benchmarks, and that standards and processes are followed to provide effective customer service and meet requirements. At the same time, to ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded.

The Systems Administrator is also responsible for upkeeping school managed solutions to reliably deliver their functionalities to school users comprising of students, teachers, operation staff and parents of students.

Marketing and Communications Executive

  • The Marketing and Communications Executive will report directly to the Head of Marketing & Communications and will be based in Singapore.
  • The Marketing and Communications Executive will be a core part of the Marketing and Communications team.

Proctor

The integrity of the exam process is fundamental to any educational program because it provides a supervised check of the student’s knowledge and capability. The school therefore requires that prospective proctors understand their responsibilities and agree to ensure that integrity.

The Proctor is responsible for administering the various school testing as assigned. This person must be committed to be available for assignment during the two-three main school wide MAP testing period, September, Jan-Feb and April-May, and other school testing/exam assignments as required.When an individual is accepted as a proctor, they represent the school and are accountable to the testing/examination process.

The Proctor should be comfortable with different age ranges of children and be able to maintain discipline in a class.

Safeguarding Coordinator

The Safeguarding Coordinator will support the schoolwide divisions to manage a caseload of open safeguarding cases from pre-nursery up to grade 12. This involves responding to Safeguarding concerns and working directly with families with the aim of ensuring children’s safety and well-being needs are being met holistically within the school setting. This role will also focus on engaging the parent community here at 精东影业; sharing the schools safeguarding values and undertaking proactive and preventive work around issues such as physical punishment, child development, and student mental health. A respectful understanding of the complexity of Safeguarding within the international school setting in the context of Singapore is needed. This role will play a significant part in continuing to develop the Safeguarding Culture within 精东影业. The role requires a robust understanding of all aspects of Safeguarding, including Child Protection, Education and Community Engagement. The candidate needs to be a highly effective and empathetic communicator, who is able to build strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders in order to ensure the wellbeing of students.

The role requires that the successful candidate be able to identify, recognise, and mitigate risk factors experienced by our international students studying in Singapore. The Safeguarding Coordinator reports to the Head of Safeguarding and works with a large number of stakeholders across the school; including academic staff and operations personnel, parents, and external stakeholders including Child Protective services.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

The role of Senior ICT Infra Engineer is to manage and support the whole infrastructure (network, server farm, IP telephony, wireless, security, cloud and special services) of 精东影业 (SAIS). He is also to assist the ICT Operations Manager on infrastructure planning, lifecycle management, prepares tender specs and involves in technical evaluation.
